La Dra. Angeles Belém Priego Sánchez actualmente, es profesora-investigadora de la Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) unidad Azcapotzalco. Realizó sus estudios de Licenciatura y de Maestría en Ciencias de la Computación en la Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP), del 2005 al 2009 y del 2010 al 2012, respectivamente. Obtuvo el grado de Doctor en Ciencias del Lenguaje en la Universidad París 13, Sorbonne Paris Cité, Francia (2013-2016).
Tiene el nombramiento de Investigador Nacional otorgado por el Sistema Nacional de Investigadores a través del Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología (CONACYT). Pertenece a la Red Temática de Tecnologías del Lenguaje del CONACYT, es miembro de la Academia Mexicana de Computación, la Sociedad Mexicana de Inteligencia Artificial y de las acciones del European Cooperation and Science and Technology (COST), una organización de financiación para redes de investigación e innovación. Además, forma parte del comité de membresía de la Asociación Mexicana para el Procesamiento del Lenguaje Natural.
Su principal área de investigación es la interacción entre las computadoras y el lenguaje humano, centrándose en lingüística computacional, procesamiento de lenguaje natural e inteligencia artificial. Específicamente en la fraseología y el análisis de sentimientos. Es autora y co-autora de más de 30 publicaciones, incluyendo capítulos de libros y artículos en revistas indexadas nacionales e internacionales. Ha impartido más de 40 conferencias en eventos especializados nacionales e internacionales. Asimismo, ha organizado más de 10 congresos y simposios de carácter académico y dirigido, en los últimos dos años, alrededor de 10 tesis de licenciatura y una maestría.

Currently, Dr. Angeles Belém Priego Sánchez is a research professor at the Autonomous Metropolitan University (UAM), Azcapotzalco. She completed her studies of Bachelor and Master in Computer Science at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP), from 2005 to 2009 and from 2010 to 2012, respectively. She obtained the degree of Doctor in Language Sciences at the University Paris 13, Sorbonne Paris Cité, France (2013-2016).
She has the appointment of National Researcher granted by the National System of Researchers through the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT). Member of the Thematic Network of Language Technologies of CONACYT, member of the Mexican Academy of Computation, the Mexican Society of Artificial Intelligence and the actions of the European Cooperation and Science and Technology (COST), a funding organisation for research and innovation networks. Also, she is member of the membership committee of the Mexican Association for the Processing of Natural Language.
Her main area of research is the interaction between computers and human language, focusing on computational linguistics, natural language processing and artificial intelligence. Specifically, in phraseology and sentiment analysis. She is the author and co-author of more than 30 publications, including book chapters and articles in national and international indexed journals. He has given more than 40 lectures in specialized national and international events. Also, she has organized more than 10 academic congresses and symposiums. In the last two years, she has managed around 10 undergraduate theses and one master’s degree.
